The Lot Replaces El Bohio; New Bar in Mt. Pleasant

1) James Island: Beloved James Island music venue The Pour House has a new sister restaurant called The Lot, which recently replaced El Bohio. They're now open for brunch on Sundays, dinner Wednesday through Sunday. The Lot joins the late-night scene, serving food until 1 a.m. Thursday through Saturday. 2) Mt. Pleasant: There's a new bar and restaurant on Coleman Boulevard called The Shelter Kitchen + Bar, according to Charleston CityPaper. It's open daily from 11 a.m. - 2 a.m. Status: Certified open; 202 Coleman Blvd.

3) Downtown: Savannah-based Fire Street Food opened its first location in Charleston, reports The Post and Courier. They're serving Japanese, Thai and Chinese dishes daily from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Status: Certified open; 293 King St., (843) 641-0152.
