Newsweek put together the "">Top Chefs Choose 101 Best Places to Eat Around the World" list and of only 14 restaurants in North America, both Husk and McCrady's made the list.
Hugh Acheson of 5 & 10 in Athens, GA had this to say about McCrady's: “Chef de cuisine Jeremiah Langhorne is young, inventive, a force to be reckoned with. Who else can serve something as simple as Southern rice and have it be ethereal? It was butter-steamed rice. That’s it ... except it was transcendent.”
It was Michael Anthony of NYC's Gramercy Tavern who added Husk to the list, citing pig ears as the specialty and saying “Chef Sean Brock cooks with such a distinctive point of view that you can’t help but fall in love with the flavors of the Low Country.”
High praise indeed and great placement on an exclusive list. This list is also interesting for you traveling types, naming unique and fabulous restaurants from Dubai to Luling, Texas.
