JBFA Finalists Will Be Announced in Charleston

Well, this is big. Charleston's Lowndes Grove Plantation will the backdrop for the announcement of the 2013 James Beard Foundation Award finalists on Monday, March 18, 2013. The announcement itself will be invite-only, but you can watch the livestream exclusively on Eater.com.

There's also going to be a fundraising dinner for the James Beard Foundation held at Fort Moultrie, featuring "Charleston chefs who have either received a JBF Award, received a nomination, or recently cooked at the James Beard House." That means the likes of JBFA winners Sean Brock, Mike Lata and Hominy Grill's Robert Stehling and puts a slew of other chefs in the running to cook for the event. Any bets on who else will be there?
