The Charleston food scene accolades just keep coming. This time it's Trip Advisor that names Charleston number 4 on their list of Top Ten Food and Wine Destinatons on the Rise for Food Lovers.
Of course, McCrady's Sean Brock and FIG's Mike Lata are the first chefs mentioned as reasons why this town is on the rise. "A recent flare-up of unique, locally owned restaurants and award winning chefs has truly solidified Charleston's fine dining reputation," quotes the release, which goes on to call Brock a "genius." Aside from the two stars of Charleston's culinary scene, also listed are the following restaurants: Cru Cafe, Magnolias, Wild Olive and, in the odd mention department, Hyman's Seafood.
