Cinco de Salsa

ziainterior.jpgCinco de Mayo is around the corner, and if you are looking for the best salsa that Charleston has to offer, the Post and Courier has been kind enough to point you in the right direction. Culinary Institute Instructor Donald Barickman, author Holly Herrick, and food critic Deidre Schipani were asked to judge a blind taste taste and the big winner of the salsa contest was James Island’s Zia Taqueria. Santi’s came in at number two on the list and Taco Boy rounded out the top three. [P&C]
