Anyone who follows Sean Brock knows in addition to running Husk and McCrady's, he's also been darting around the country for various festivals and dinners, foraging when he has a moment and opening Husk II in Nashville. And, frankly, his mother is starting to get worried. Mama Brock ran into City Paper's Stephanie Barna at the Ultimate Critic's Dinner and said, "He just works himself so hard."
Even though Chef Brock recently told Bon Appetit he'd like to open a restaurant in New York City, he clarified with City Paper that it won't be anytime soon. He might be a sleep-hating rockstar, but he's not going to stretch himself too thin and split his time between three cities. At least not yet.
