Confirmed: Mysterious Rarebit Will Have Sixties Theme

Finally, some clarity about The Rarebit. Owner John Adamson revealed that his new project on Upper King Street won't have a Louisiana theme, as previously rumored. There will be a sixties vibe throughout the place (perhaps Mad Men-esque?), and he noted in an email the food and drinks will be "era appropriate."

Brent Sweatman, formerly of the on-again, off-again Wagener Terrace restaurant Granville's, will head up the bar. The Rarebit is currently looking for help on Craigslist and, in a departure from the 1960s, the ad listed compensation at "$8.00/hr - $75k/yr." They're still eyeing mid-November for the opening.
